Everything looks realistic, except the waterdrop. They don't adopt that shape when dripping. I think it works against the overall scene, and more being the focus.

Thanks for the input, most appreciated. I guess I come down on the side of, "it's a cartoon." And with the short attention span most people afford any visual or written message, my thought is, "can I get my idea across rapidly for someone who is (metaphorically) driving by on the freeway?" If I have, then I've provided the quick read Im shooting for.
